York Public Relations Launches Creative Marketing Services to Support Quality Branding Initiatives

Financial services PR firm to now deliver creative support for fintech startups, financial institutions and associations

ATLANTA, May 12, 2021 – York Public Relations, the nation’s top brand awareness and crisis PR firm dedicated exclusively to financial institutions and fintechs, is now offering Creative Marketing as a stand-alone service, including Brand Identity, Print Marketing and Digital Marketing.

Nearly half of marketers (49%) rate visual marketing as “Very Important” to their marketing strategy, 22% consider it “Important,” and 19% say that their marketing and branding strategy is nothing without visual content, according to a recent survey. In fact, in 2019, there was a 10.5% increase in visual content usage compared to 2018.

This makes sense. When people hear information, they’re likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retained 65% of the information three days later. With consumers receiving as many as 600 messages each day from marketers, it is critical to stand out.

Although deemed critical to many marketing programs, the type of visual content most frequently used were stock photos at 40%, but when asked what type of visual content helped marketers achieve their goals, stock photos only represented 13%. Original graphics, such as custom branded content and infographics, accounted for 40% of successful campaigns, however, design and visual content is the biggest challenge for 23.7% of content marketers. Additionally, 44% of marketers rate creating visual content as very difficult.

The impact of inadequate branding is serious. According to a 2020 survey, 74% of respondents said a company’s “look and feel” can be the deciding factor for them. Moreover, 30% of respondents said the very first thing they recognized about a product was its logo, followed by the company name and color. Color was so important to respondents that approximately 25% said the colors used in a logo directly helped them remember a brand.

“There is a clear need for quality creative marketing support but organizations shouldn’t be forced to pay thousands of dollars for outdated designs. This is especially true for startups in need of growing brands with limited resources,” said Michael Misoyianis, CFO and COO of York Public Relations. “Based on demand, we are now offering complete marketing support – from logo design to print products – managed completely in house by fintech and financial services experts. We’re excited about this new offering and the assistance we’ll be able to offer.”

For organizations in need of modest creative support but without a full-scale program costing tens of thousands of dollars, York Public Relations offers a simple, yet affordable solution. The firm’s new creative services division produces high-quality materials at both a lower price point and in less time, ideal for new organizations and nonprofits like associations.

Mary York, CEO of York Public Relations, said, “Our mission is to help organizations with limited budgets create branded material that is just as professional and modern as their corporate competitors. There are numerous companies, particularly within our industry, that have great technology and services but lack good branding. This can be a deal breaker for many prospects, but we’re hoping to change that.”
